Ok, as far as I know we do *not* create the home screen shortcut. I can ask around to see if it's possible.
Hi Cipriux - Did it install the app? Are you saying it did not create a default icon on your home screen (but it's available on the installed apps)?
You should be building for Crosswalk. There shouldn't be "insane laggs" from touch events.
Touch objects should work fine. Can you try in the "Debug" tab of the XDK? You will have to install App Preview, but you can debug your app without rebuilding. This will also give you access to Chrome Developer Tools to see if there are any JS errors causing problems.
— - this is because we are replacing the standard webview with Crosswalk, which is based off the Chrome browser. We are looking into getting a "shared" approach for Crosswalk (installed once on a device and used by every app).
Rable - any chance you can post the full build log? if you want, you can email me ian.maffett at intel.com and I'll be happy to look into it
grigrizljac - I do not know an exact date. Most people are off until the first week in January.
— - are you sure you are building for Crosswalk? We see bad performance on regular Android builds and Legacy builds, but not crosswalk. If you are, can we see your project to debug performance issues?
sure - it's ian.maffett at intel.com
It should work fine. Any chance you can provide an APK that I can test? Also, make sure you are using the arm binary and not the X86
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
There is a new Crosswalk 10 beta that has the fix, but it is NOT in the Intel® XDK build system yet. We are testing it this week.
Our Crosswalk build servers are in the process of being updated from Java 6 to Java 7. Java 7 is needed by a few plugins, like Facebook and Google Play Games Services.
