  • So here is the image:

I am making a game where you can grab platforms to make them a part of the player, and in this case, I don't know how to disable solid collision for the SPECIFIC PLATFORM (I chose the entire family, but somehow it affected the whole thing) the player collides (so the platform can jump, as solid just blocks that). Also, how do I turn the solid collision off with an invert condition?

  • So, when I pin an object to the player from below, the player slides across the game like an ice block when I try to move it (I use the platform behavior, changing it to 8 direction doesn't work) and reducing the speed only gives it more lag.

Is there a fix for this (so the player isn't moving insanely fast when I pin something to it from below)?

  • Yeah, I am making a platformer where the player can stick to platforms and make them a part of itself, but the player always end up flying outside of the boundary whenever I tried sticking them together in any way. How do I fix this?

  • So I want to make a game where the player can combine together blocks to make statements, similar to the game "Baba is You". Are there any examples or tutorials I can follow?

  • I am building a level navigation menu, so here's how it works.

When the player completes a level, I add 1 to a variable called LevelsCompleted.

If a level access button's level number is equal to the number of levels completed + 1 (because there is already level 1), I set it visible (if it's not, I set it invisible). But the problem is, I have to reference the level button using a string ("Level" & LevelButton.LevelNumber), how do I do that.

  • It worked! Thank you!

  • Yup, that helped, thank you.

Is there any way I can make the UI go in the center without causing this error though?

Here is a link to the file, can you find the problem there?

  • So, the objects in the HUD in the game is NOT VISIBLE AT ALL in the game, no matter the settings when I turn the Parallax to 0. But I needed to to prevent scrolling from moving the HUD objects on the screen.

    How do I fix this?
