  • Dont quote me on this because im new to construct 2 as well, but most phones and tablets process a mouse click as a touch, thats how I made games in game maker. Also in theexample projects on the construct 2 start menu I vaguely remeber seeing something that used a touch behavior.

  • AllanR I was playing around with your .capx and so far its the best example Ive found of the wall tracing movement. IDK if you can tell me this or not, but my non-relative Gravity zones just shoot my player off either left or right. Ive tried rotating the sprite several different directions but no matter what it just shoots him off right or left. Everything else works perfectly though, any idea on how to fix it?

  • Kurz Gotcha! I was just curious. I know this guy who does that, TrueValhalla I think his website is the same as his name. I think he just "rents" the rights for people to put his html5 games on their sites, that way he can keep selling the same game to different sites.

  • Im new to construct 2. I have experience with HTML5, a little c# and Im fluent with Game Maker, but Im enjoying how quick things can be made with Construct! Im a student majoring in video game development, one of the games I've been working on recently won an award for best game creation at my school, Im working on transferring that game into construct 2 so I can work on it a little faster.... a lot faster lol.

    Can I ask why you're even talking to publishers? I think their days are numbered and self publishing is getting more popular, besides, publishers take a cut of your earnings

    It runs perfectly on my mac... my pc eh not so much, which is odd, my mac is a mac mini, my pc is an alienware lol.

  • - did you try out my wall-tracing example? It isn't physics based, but does use the platform behavior, which does have simplified physics - so you can control how strong gravity is, how fast they move, how far they can jump, etc...

    please make this into a tutorial! Your caps is helping me make sense of the wall hugging gravity so much more than anything else I have found! Thanks for posting this!

  • I looks really good! I've been looking for a good tutorial for a matching game for construct but havent been able to find any. The only issue is (probably because Im not on a tablet or phone) is the game isnt doing anything for me on the pc. I click and drag and nothing happens :/ It looks really good though!
