  • TY, I read it. To clarify, I fixed it somehow by simply changing the name of the project.

  • i read the tutorials. it was broken. i got it fixed by changing the name of the project. who knows why. i have learned a lot from videos though. pretty much everything.

    Hi! I am probably about to go back to c3, this is very difficult. but it's been a big headache. Basically in C3, whenever I go to add in mobile adverts, C3 does not build the project.

    Unfortunately your project failed to build.

  • The ads work perfectly and easily in C2, but I can't even export out of C3 :(

  • I watched a YT video from someone who said apple would likely reject you if you are using C3 for IAP, but I have since heard that has changed.

    I'm finally nearing the completion of my app / game. I actually ported down to C2 after hearing from a developer that apple will likely reject C3 builds with IAPs, and also, after watching my app completely crash and burn due to google ad mobs SDK in C3 (even though it works like a charm in C2.)

    Hi! The title explains a lot.

    So, I've got this C2 game up and running. Everything is perfect. It runs great on my phone (i have scaled a lot of images down to save on CPU space), HOWEVER, whenever I go to run the game through xcode simulator, it is stuck on the Construct splash screen (or if I change the splash screen to something I've put in), SO, what do I do?! I'm worried that apple will likely not test on a real device, but rather, on a simulator, watch it not even start, and fail me right then and there. What do I do?!

  • just wanted to let you know you saved my life after being stumped for 12 hours with this comment. thank you. I don't think you should have linked to that page, as it is misleading, simply the always opening in .xcproj is great!

    I got it to work in C2 a test, and I couldn't even get it to export out of C3 so I rebuilt my whole game after seeing a test ad work easily and quickly in C2!

    I even exported into xcode and saw the ad with my own two eyes on my iphone!

    however, i deleted the rules and actions because it was so easy i figured i would just do it again when i finished the game up.

    i've now spent the entire day looking for a solution, however, every time i have ad properties in my game when i go to test through xcode my exporting to my phone it says, "build failed," the second i go to export even though it will successfully export when there are no properties and the whole thing works.

    What am I to do?! I ahve my app id, publisher ID, privacy policy, everything you would imagine. I have also made sure to be using test ads and have tried enabling and disabling tester mode. Any thoughts? I thought construct was easy until now.

  • Hi! I watched a video where a man mentioned that C2 is much easier to create mobile ads for... currently trying to create ads in my c3 project, and it won't even build the project. I went to do a test in C2, however, and I instantly got a build. Additionally, I want a global leaderboard in C3, and all the tutorials and plugins are for C2, virtually no support/ love for simple step by step people like me. This saddens me! And I'm anticipating this is going to be a lot of work, however, I suppose I don't have much of a choice at this point.... Gotta' have a leaderboard, gotta' have in app purchases, and gotta' have advertisements :/ It bums me out because I've poured more work imaginable into C3, at least the port should be quick!

  • Hey, while that sounds like a great idea, I honestly wouldn't know where to start and am looking for step by step tutorials!
