I do NOT find this helpful! I find setting a number of rules for objects to be set in relation the viewport is much, much, much more helpful in order to truly be able to support any screen size, and that it's really not all that simple! I went in circles with this article for a good day before nearly writing it off as useless, however, I will say I learned a lot from just changing the screen type.
omg i'm flip flopping... it is working for me now... not sure what changed.... i think it was adding in a bunch of names though. thank you. this was ABSOLUTELY killing me. i can't say how much i needed this.
actually... it's not working...i read it worng and i was using your domain and i didn't realize it :(
Okay, so... I got it working... It's perhaps worth noting that the code won't log your score if you don't have more than 10 or so scores to load! That's a bit of a gap in this tutorial! I was searching far and wide and analyzing your code man! Please make sure you do that if you're following this tutorial... Other than that, it works fine.
Hi I've gotten through the whole thing, however, I break down on page 4! I've put in a lot of work to be in C2 after starting a project in C3, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Everything is working fine in my databases, all of the php files are in and tested. I have put my domain in https with ""s in the global constant variable in the demo, however, it simply never works. It will load, but never return a query. Can you please help me?! I'm sure you might have a clue. I tried exporting the project to xcode and running via my iphone to see if it was just the browser preview within C3 , however, there is nothing. I am not familiar with coding. And i was really hopeful this was going to be the tutorial that was going to finally give me the leaderboard I have been searching for so desperately. Thank you!
