  • Possibly multiplying the variable by object.count.

So Object.count*(variable) = variable that you want to find.

  • I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say.

Upload a screen shot of what is happening wrong and your code and perhaps we can get a better idea.

  • Please dont NOT SOLVED and things like that. Just seeing that instantly made me NOT WANT TO CLICK AND HELP.

It makes you sound demanding and whiny. Also next time try adding more info/.capx file because if people are viewing this and not answering then they probably can't tell what the problem is.

Now if you would upload a .capx I would gladly look at it because I have no idea why or what is going on in your picture because I've never had the problem your describing.

  • And? Your point being?

You can make it when A or whatever key you want to use, is pressed blah blah happens.

It just doesn't work the same way.

  • I'm not entirely sure what is causing the problem but you can have on collision to set the bullets speed and acceleration to 0 so then you can see were it is landing.

When I used debug mode and slowed the time scale down it hit on the edge perfectly every time. (Unless I was standing right on top of the thing of course.

If you can't figure it out then you could always have the platform be set behind the blocks so that if it over lapped you wouldn't see it anyway.

  • starting a platform level and the screen has a constant shake

a bit like watching your screen during and earth quake

how do i get rid of this shake? what is causing it?

Did you do the basic how to create a platformer tutorial?

If you didn't I would suggest doing so. Usually Jitter is caused because your didn't pin an invisible box sprite around your character for collisions.

  • Just a quick bump.

I am still having the problem above but I have now encountered another problem with my projectile called Kcoin.

It is supposed to spawn a random projectile upon hitting the ground, however, it sometimes spawns two instances at the same time and sends two different projectiles at the same time.

Right now its set to either shoot ravens, holy water, or knives but its sometimes does two at a time.

EX: Shoots ravens and knives from the same coin.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Well without a capx its hard to tell exactly but when the sprite is clicked on have it set the variable to the corresponding player.

On "p2" clicked left mouse button set variable to "2"

Then have when variable is =2 set blah blah and then just have it turn off control for the others.

  • You upload the one with the type Construct 2 Project.

    Name Date Modified Type

    Proj1 4/13/14 Construct 2 Project

  • I would search on how to use physics.

For what you are doing it would work much much better.

  • Perhaps something like left mouse button clicked. Then a global variable 1 = p1 2 =p2 ect.

Then if variable =2 disable platformer behavior for p1 and enable it for p2.

Then just add the scroll behavior and have the screen scroll to which ever player you want.

  • I have a projectile that needs to spin in a circle and slowly fade away. This works perfectly until I need to mirror it for the opposite direction.

I've tried setting negative speeds, rotations, and anything else I could think of but the closest I got was getting the projectile to rotate downwards in the opposite direction.

The function is at the bottom of the player event sheet and is labeled BRaxe it is right above the Kcoin which I am also having trouble with.
