And are you looking to have the 40m in real life calculated into latitude-longitude? Or are you wanting global positions translated into a 40m by 40m RL square? This will determine the calculation method used.

The trouble with Game One, is you've had trouble explaining it, or I've had trouble understanding your explanation. Anything which isn't clear is destined to fail.

Not to highjack, but I figured I should ask, how is the income from monetizing on Kongregate? Is it worth submitting games to if you only currently have 1 or 2 games ready to publish? Or is it a platform that doesn't really do you much good unless you have a large catalogue of games to submit?

Very interesting question. Given that most games will struggle to 1000 views, is the ad sharing revenue going to earn you anything?

Hated the music. If you have music, always allow the option to turn it off (unless the music is the point of the game, which this isn't).

If you've made a game, try putting it on Kongregate.

As for 'publishing companies', one might consider looking at you if you have a spare $500k (that's how they work).

Descent. That was real scary, particular when the enemy did its screech when it attacked from who knows which direction. Duke & Wolf & Doom etc were real lame after that game.

In Properties, under configuration settings, there's the option of selecting the preview browser. Default will go to the browser your computer normally lists as the default for everything else.

Amstrad 512. Cost a fair bit at the time. My parents were the first in the town (19k population) to have a hard drive with the computer, and the computer shop allegedly said "Why do you want a hard drive for, you'll never need one of those."

Over a dozen years & several owners later, the Amstrad was still going strong. Don't know what happened to it after that.

The thing about partnerships, is they should both be equally talented in the area they're building a partnership in, or at least have complimentary talents which are of similar value.

The C2 partnership works, because each partner has something to offer. The question is, what do you have to offer which can be of equal value to the partnership you're seeking?

While we're on sprite objects, if I create a blank (making it invisible) sprite so that an event occurs if a player clicks on it, how much space [& resources] does it use compared to a graphically full sprite?

And is there a better way to do this?
