  • Hmm what is your process because I can show doing that way worked. If you want PM I will test it.

Cause here is my upload http://gamejolt.com/games/testing-html5 ... game/93419

  • Buttons come with already set actions to function as a button. Sprite you would have to do it yourself. Some people make the button invisible and place it over the sprite to have access to the button features.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I tested by using the Kongregate export option, zipped it up and it worked fine on GameJolt. Test published and it loaded right up. So use export to Kongregate.

  • Have you tested a portion? Do you have GameMaker to try out? If your not interested in the bundle I can give you my redemption code for pro don't need it already have pro just wanted the android export module.

  • If it working for you why not? Alot of people like to have options. GameMaker is nice for something different. I find myself booting up C2 more often then anything else. Unity has 2D feature but I only look at them for 3d things. It looks like alot of work just to do simple stuff in 2D. But I am an impatient person.

  • I can test for it you. But kyatric said html5 was meant for Android OS 4 and up. You window size isn't a size LordShiva recommended. You with is 760 when it should be 960 I think.

  • I never used the c2 embed export I just exported as a regular site

  • I could be wrong but if the root has the index and files all in one when you move them the path is changed so the code for the game can't find it. That is why you have a black screen. Basically when you moved them to the folder you would have to update all the files path information.

    IE

If the index looks for screen.png but you moved it to new folder/screen.png so can't find it.

  • Ah OK. No problem at all.

  • Doesn't sound cheesy to me. Do you have a mockup of how it works and how you actually 'kill' the blocks?

  • I don't really understand if you mean for using C2 or your actual product but I am in the US the most I see people worry about is not using Someone else idea or content, have rights to any music you use. If your targeting children you app can not collect information from them due to the child information protection online privacy thing. Also if it a kids aimed app minors can't agree to contract. But if its your original idea nothing really but setting up a tax id so you can pay US taxes on any US based sales. If you want to be known as a business register as a business in the US for when you file taxes. That is all I can think of right now.

  • I have both. I have a background in scripting and that's what you have offered to do inside of GameMaker itself. You can script for C2 but not inside the editor itself. C2 to me gets stuff up and running very quickly. Alot of people complain for native export option because they say using these html5 wrappers at time causes slowdown. I haven't experience that but I haven't made super huge games with C2 either. So some people want it for the size of the project and want to have the option of native export. 12$ is way better for me for the Android export module verus I think about 200$. I have notice this sale and just can't let it slip by. But some have it for when they want to use something else to develop their project from what they say big projects.
