  • megatronx yes, but what about the problems which I described? When I have to replace a global object, e.g. control plugin or an analytics plugin? I can't abstract these with a family.

  • Hello forumers,

It would be nice to have a message box with a report about how many events/actions/instances got removed from layouts and event sheets after an object deletion from the project view.

It could be made optional in the Construct 2 preferences in case this annoys someone.

It could be made even better and provide an actual list of events / actions with their numbers about to be deleted.

The reason for this is that sometimes I need to completely replace one object type in the event sheets with another ( e.g. replace one analytics plugin with another, or replace a control plugin with a custom one that for example fixes android stock browser double touch event firing ). If after deleting the original object I could see that 0 events/actions got deleted, I'd be certain I didn't miss anything.

Perhaps something similar can be achieved now? I know about the search events feature, but it doesn't highlight anything so you would often miss object references e.g. in formulas.

    What do you guys think?

  • donelwero I tried it on Android, it's good So I see you decided to combine world cup & flappy bird virality. Did you use intel XDK for exporting?

  • Have you tried older cocoonjs version (1.4.something)? You may also find some useful info in xcode debug output.

  • I go with scale outer & scale to fit. I have extra on my art to cover the black borders. I also set unbound scrolling in c2 layouts - that way I get my layouts centered with these scaling modes. Otherwise they are top left aligned.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Would you consider lowering the resolution req a little? I have a 7 inch galaxy tab 2, the screen is big enough I'd say. But the game says unsupported.

BTW When was the game first uploaded? You got to 500+ installs pretty fast. What's your secret?

  • Harlequin It installs fine now, gj! What CocoonJS version did you use?

  • Still gives me the signing error. I had this problem too. On some devices it installs, and on others - signing error. Try googling the correct command line args or use an older java SDK with deafault args. For me, the sdk mentioned in scirra tutorial worked fine. I think its version was 1.6.038. The newer version with the tutorial args gave the signing error.

  • Hi Onur, it looks interesting but I had some issues. The menu after the right click sometimes works, but sometimes just sends the char to walk instead.

  • Hi Ashesh. I think it's impossible from within a browser. That's OS level function, and in browser code you can't even peek at the neighbor tab.

  • Sry if I repeat what has already been commented. The visuals are really great. The intro before the game started seemed strange. I thought maybe the game had already started because it reacted to the mouse and I thought that maybe I should do something with these tiles to proceed. A text like "press any key to skip" and the ability to skip could help.

It would be also nice to upscale the game to maximum browser area. Have you tried letterbox scaling?

  • It's cute in a way. What does this mystical red bar indicate?
