  • laoniustudio, thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't. But one dev made it work via proxy page ( you will have to host it yourself ). Please check this post for more details:

  • Hi jook00, you can find the events under Behavior section. Check out the menu to the left, where there's Audience, Acquisition, Behavior and so on.

  • Thanks suntemple!

Does the plugin work when using Intel XDK --> export --> Android Play Store?

    Or when published on ios?

Or on a self published html5-site/game?

    Hi Mumu64,

As far as I know it doesn't work with native wrappers unless you use a proxy page on your own server ( browse through this thread please, one of the posters shared his experience ).

As for self published html5-site/game - it should work OK.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • lizzybarrett Hi Lizzybarett. what sort of error message are you getting? I tried using the plugin with the fresh C2 version (r200) and it works ok. I can insert the plugin object into a new project ( it is under Analytics category ) and it works fine in the existing projects too.

  • This is a great plugin! I'm having some trouble. I can't seem to figure out how to get the duration events right. I've never used Google analytics before now, so I suspect I'm just not looking for it in the right place. In google analytics, I'm looking at Real-Time: Events where I can see all my tracked events but not duration ones. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Hi Spocedoubt. I myself found them only when creating a custom report under customization tab. Try creating a report with "Avg. user timing(sec)" in Metric Groups and "Timing Variable" in Dimension Drilldowns

  • suntemple IT doesn't work in Cordova via Intel XDK export

Hi Ashesh. You may need a proxy web page in order for it to work in native exports. Refer to this post for details:

  • it seems it doesnt work on Nodewebkit exports:(

on web it reports everything but on exports i see no stats

    Hi Iwgames,

I tried it, and everything looks to be good: ga_init.js is inside the pak and is referenced from the index.html correctly. I can only imagine a firewall blocking the nwk connection or perhaps Google Analytics doesn't support NWK's "internal browser".

  • Hi, I got the following error in chrome while running the demo capx

    Hi Akkthedev,

I tried it with the latest stable C2 release ( r190 ), but couldn't repro the bug.

Perhaps your Tracking ID property is empty on the plugin object. But you are supposed to get a message box asking you to enter it that case. Did you get that?

  • Hi hassiba, For CocoonJS you'll need to host a proxy page on your server. Please refer to refais23 message. As for Cordoba, I haven't tried myself. If you are successful with it, please tell us

  • Hi George. In my experience, this is how google treats new submissions in general. You need to drive traffic by yourself first, and after googles detects that your app has some attention, it will improve search rankings. All of the apps that I submitted wouldnt show up in search by exact title match at first. Afer some time and some installs they sarted showing up.

  • E.g. Softgames says they experience a glitch with c2 games somewhere within their process. I offered to try fix it, they said they'd tell their engineer to contact me. But this never happened.

  • It takes time for an app to show up in google play search. My experience is that google gives 0 traffic for a new app. You have to promote it yourself on the web, build backlinks to it, and eventually it will start having better position in google play search.

  • Whack, thanks a lot Whack. I'll integrate the changes from the site you pointed out.

  • Whack

suntemple please do, I really want to use this in my app. Will Flurry work for cocoonjs iOS until you can fix it?

Regarding Flurry, I tried it some time back with CocoonJS 1.4.7 and it didn't work for me. Maybe now it's different.

  • Whack, I moved the initialization to runtime.js, bracked-syntaxed it and it works for me in browser. Since there's no dependencies, it should throw no runtime errors from within Cocoonjs too.

But whether GA will send actual data from within CocoonJS remains a question

You can get this version of the plugin here

Could you please let me know if it works for you? Thanks!
