I am making a top down shooter game with multiple levels. I want to implement a health bar. If i want the player to have the health bar visible at all times do i simply need to have it be created on every layout at the exact same place every time. or is there a more streamlined way to accomplish my goals. Any suggestions and/or solutions are appreciated.

I am creating a top down shooter with multiple levels. level one and two however my code o go from lvl 2 to lvl 3 is not working for some reason. It is essentially the exact same code used to go from lvl 1 to lvl 2 however, it isn't working. Does anyone know how to fix this or is this just a case of construct 2 messing with me for the fun of it. The game is nowhere near finished yet, many things have yet to be added. Seriously though I would appreciate any feedback, this hangup is severely effecting my progress. the .capx is atached.

Gimp is pretty good but if your really dedicated i would personally suggest photoshop or illustrator. They are expensive but in my experience as digital artist and amateur game developer worth every penny.

that r= was a mistake

I am want the enemies r=to wander around and if they "see" the character i want them to start shooting.

The bricks are clones I think. If you have seen Lee Stemkoski's breakout cone tutorial, I place my bricks the same way that he did.

i checked the collision masks and my events I cant find any reason for the superfluous explosions.
