hey all,

i have a recipe game that starts with buttering the pan... and although it doesn't seem right to some... there is such a thing as 'too much butter'.

can anyone offer advice on how to do this better than what i have?

i'm using a technique of drawing a wide line, sort of like a brush... here's my problems...

1. it's inelegant, it doesn't look like a brush

2. i need to place the butter stroke on the pan... i have a max x value when you click the mouse down... but if you click several times, you'll see the brush is erratic.

3. i'd love it if i could use a real brush image instead of the cursor arrow to brush the pan... don't know how to do that

4. i have no way to test if there's too much butter... and i really should... we're all trying to live healthier.

any help is sweetly appreciated.

i know i can choose 'remote preview' for friends to test... but that seems to require that i leave my computer running for them.

I’d like there to be a countdown clock (like a basketball shot clock) on the screen where the player has to complete certain tasks within a couple minutes. I don’t know how to build the clock or the logic of when time runs out... (i guess when ‘timeleft’=zero set a global variable?).

if there’s code out there that does it, with the graphics files too... that would be 👍.

When a condition is met, I’d like to randomize the audio response. I know how to call a particular audio file... don’t know how to pick one at random.

Any advice how to do that? I expect to have 10-20 audio files to pick from.
