  • I see. Did a bit of digging. Still no clear answer.

Android clearly supports gamepads. I'm not finding documentation though as to whether chrome has access confirmed access. Though I did find this.

With that said, I'm going to have to take an educated guess and say it will. I have a feeling it doesn't work on the Fire because of Silk. FireOS is heavily modified from Android, including the built-in browser.

  • Doesn't it work on the Ouya? If it does, I have a feeling that it would on this as well. Just a guess though.

  • To add another point, I would create invisible sprites covering half of the screen, one on each side of the screen. These could be your touchpoints to navigate to the next or previous layouts. Ultimately what you're looking to do is navigate between layouts nonetheless.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You would have to have touch points for navigation. The touch points could move the reader to a new layout or "page". That's a creative use for Construct!

  • I believe you have to opt-in for the revenue sharing. If you opt-out then you would be able to. If you can inherently earn money from the game, then otherwise you'll need to upgrade your license.

  • This is probably something to do with their payment gateway itself and your bank. Sadly, not all payment gateways work with all banks. I would email support directly. You'll probably get a faster and more thorough response.

  • Your work is amazing!

  • It's been a while since I've used Crosswalk, but if I remember correctly, there should be a text box in the project area for your game that will allow you to change the versioning.

  • That sounds like it may be a localized bug. I would reach out to Ashley for better input. That error sounds like it's trying to open connections to multiple pieces of hardware or hardware streams. Construct can obviously handle more than 6 sound files. It sounds like something else is going on there,

  • I can't answer the payment question. As far as APKs go, Google Play references the manifest.xml file for the file version. Ultimately, it would need t be changed in there to a newer version. Changing that depens on how you are packaging the APK file. If you're using cacoonJS, change the version in the app settings at the CacoonJS website. You could also try changing the version number in Construct but that might have a limited effect depending on how you are packaging. The same advice would follow for crosswalk and the like also. If you're packaging the file manually through eclipse or intelliJ, change the app version in the manifest.xml file through those IDKs.

  • spacedoubt I tried to contact Mr. Bay, as he is the explosion king, but was unavailable. Maybe next week.

inquiesco and Paradox, I really appreciate the input. It gives me something to chew on. I haven't written any kind of design document yet. I'm tossing ideas around before I put pen to paper and start hashing things out more.

  • I'm developing an idea for a new game and attempting to has out the rules for the game. I have a really subjective question that I need to answer though, so I'm trying to get input from as many people as possible.

Simply put, if you were to blow up an object, say a house or a tree, with a small explosive, like TNT, how would you rate that explosion? What would constitute a poor explosion vs. an awesome explosion? Why would you rate it differently?
