  • Ashley (why I am not wanting 3rd party involvement)

I am new to CS2 have used others won't name them you know who they are. I am wondering future. If I invest in the game then a major change comes through third party contributors. Where will I be then? As mentioned already if one of them shuts down where will we be then? I am actually more concerned on the Coccoonjs site (who seem to be the best of the choices) the first page says "Free for Now!" that means they re considering a price for the service after they use our test apps to perfect it. Everyone deserves payment for services rendered, How ever what will that price be? Perhaps I am better to invest into a creator that allows me to own the exporters rather than rely on 3rd party? Just thoughts would love to here others perspective on this.

    Thanks

    John P

  • Hi my name is John I am new to CS2 Been interested in game making since the Commodore 64. I have not done anything as of yet but dream of doing it. Perhaps now with these new Game creation tools and the market of the mobile and social being much easier to break into.... Perhaps it is just time!

Thanks for a chance to realize a dream!

  • Hi Dan72

Thanks for taking time to show me another way to do this. I knew when I started that there would be more solutions to this scenario. Now I know a little bit more about CS2 specificly the a use for pinning.

Thanks again I will try this in the future to see how well it works in the actual game. Not that I have any doubt but always like to know for sure on changes!

  • Not finished but do have an update with much more added some touch controls as well....

Not sure why but in my android devices using Chrome browser the game gets wierd and does not run correct... Yet it works fin on my PC on Chrome?

  • cesisco Very nice I am very new but am interested in program generated playfields. My opinion though they are longer to load in you can have more views than if you hard set each layout. Again Nice!

I feel the time to generate can be absorb through distraction...

Meaning while the program is creating this cave or maze or platform etc in background not in view, In view would be a transition screen of some sort perhaps some story to read thru non or that could be a good time to buy powerups or weapons or other assets that apply to the game.

Again to new to design this but soon :)

  • These Are very nice! mikeorion22 Do you sell any pre made basic stuff or is your work all custom at this time?

  • That is some interesting movement there zatyka played with your demo and was impressed with it. Really opens up the mind to the there is always more you can do theory.

  • I found this post looking for help on just what you all are talking about. The manual is not very clear on this action either, It needs to list an example or spell it out better.

However I agree it would be nice for CS2 to prompt me as to the available animations for the chosen object. Not only in event editor but also in properties when setting initial animation other than Default!

  • Events are coming along fine in this I already have the keys opening all castles based on color and now the sword kills the dragon. You can enter open castles as well as exit only a few more things to do and this will be finished. I have some view issues as far as precision not sure why it gets off I think I stretched my map or something. I may or may not fix that since this game can not be used for anything other than the learning since it is not my own concept.

Things I will work on before I update the link....

AI dragons attack players who get within range.

Bat randomly flies in and steals your item in hand

And game objective (get golden Chalice and bring into your castle.

If there is still event space I may make it randomize the items so its a new game every play.

  • Straight to the point! Thanks

  • Arrow Keys move player

    Bump into object to pickup

Press space to drop item holding.

Bridge enables you to go through walls in maze rooms. Carry as with other objects then drop and cross. You can carry item over bridge.

As of now the game only has player movement and certain objects coded for carry see list below. No AI yet although you will find the dragons as you walk about.

    Able to pick up

    All keys

    Sword

    Bridge
