Hmm, that's very strange that the larger size doesn't work. It's even more strange that the fullscreen is tied to how you name your project ID. I would think there would be no correlation with naming the ID and controlling the fullscreen.
BTW, sometimes, you might not get fullscreen on mobile because there is a bug on the naming of project ID. You can see the bug I filed here: https://github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues/2092
For example, if you name your ID com.teamname.gamename you might not get fullscreen, but if you change it to com.randomname.gamename, you will get fullscreen. Strange.

Does the white space change height with different viewports? You should try repositioning your ground on Start of Layout with X position of viewportbottom(0).
I think everything looks mostly good except the 3 second wait. It's not reliable. You should destroy the EnemyShoot and Enemy1s sprites when their animation is complete instead.
EnemyShoot > On animation "dead" finished > Destroy
