  • Very clean. How exactely is a dungeon working? You have 9 squares, you click on one random to progress, finding a chest or a monster?

    I was testing the famous Cookie Clicker concept with Construct 2.

    So, with my prototype, you can't go really far playing it. I mean, after a few times, you're so rich that it does'nt make sens to play (because there's only 4 items in the shop). But that's not the point in this.

    My point is, loosing focus on my 'game'. If you hide the tab ou minimize the browser, then, numbers are not growing. Letting the game playing itself on the background is then not working, the point of this kind of game would be then not 'doable' with Construct 2.

  • Hi, I'm Zav. I started to talk in the forum forgetting about some presentation.

    I'm quite new with Construct 2 by the way. But it's already my discovery of the year. I love this software and can't wait to discover and learn a lot from you guys :)

  • Love it. A few remarks.

    • the jump a bit odd, like said damainman.
    • it's a shame with such a weapon, the range isn't more big. The first time I killed my enemy, I was kind of surprised. Like 'Oh, really, that was my attack?'
    • I really love the ambiance, sounds, and animations. This is very very well executed. There's only one point that annoys me, it's the jump animation. The character is straight like a wood plank. What a shame. I know you made the game in a very quick time, but that's just a suggestion. You can do lot better for this jump animation :p

    Anyway, great work, I love to see it at another level of advanced work.

  • A very interesting project. I'm looking forward to its next steps.

  • Be careful, way too much particles when an ennemy dies. Several times, I thought it was some missiles from somewhere. But it was just enemies' explosion.

    Otherwise, love your little turrets and the spawning ammo.

    Little bug: when selecting my base, in the menu, arrow keys made me navigate through the menu, up and down, but also move the select square on the ground. But I guess you're aware of this.

    Aside of this, I love the capacity to be useful. I mean, putting turrets is cool, but being able to play and shoot at the same time, I love the idea.

    Looks very promising. Can't wait to see it for real :)
