    Just to let you know that now that my game Taita is completed I decided to release it on Scirra Store with full .capx

    On this game you will find how to do:

    • Menu Screen and Level Selection Screen
    • Different types of Towers, Heroes and Special Powers.
    • Unlock Levels as the game progresses and save progress with Local Storage
    • Various types of enemies with different stats and life bar.
    • Cutscenes before and after levels.

  • Hi lads, a quick update just to let you know I have added Single and Multiplayer mode. Also if you weren't a fan of the one-touch mechanic, don't worry, the game now has full gamepad support up to four players locally. This have added a nice twist to the game and people seems to be digging the new way to control the pirates.

    This obviously will be on the PC version, that by the way, I'm dying to get on steam. Let's just hope.

    I now have 3 full stages and ready to start working on the last one. With this pace I think we can start playtesting soon.

  • Hi there, been a while since the last update. I got distracted with some jams. Tried to enter underground jam but wasn't able to finish on time. Ludum Dare was better.

    The good news is that I'm again working full time on Pocket Pirates Brawl, and the game is getting there. I'm currently retouching the graphics and spicing thing up a bit.

    how to play the game is the only thing i dont like about it

    The new game will play like a traditional platformer. But I understand what you say. In Brawl mode I wanted to simplify the controls all I could to enhance the experience on mobile devices, but it is not set in stone yet Playtester will definitely have the final word

  • Hello, I've been a little busy with the development of the game but thought of giving you some insight on how things are going. Brawl mode is finished, there is one feature that is giving me troubles and is holding the launch a little. I decided to change and focus on the story mode for a while.

    This was very good, in fact, more than I expected. The story mode (which features Billy, the pirate who likes ramen) has grown considerably since the start, so now it doesn't seem to make much sense to keep it as a special mode in the main game. So I decided to give it the space it deserves and make it a separate game.

    This is good news, because now there will be two games instead of one, Yey!

    I really like the drawings of Pocket Pirates! and it is exciting to think of the possibility of making several games in this universe. Billy's Adventure will be the first, who knows what will come in the future for the rest of the crew. For now, I'll return to Brawl mode and try to fix that annoying feature. As soon I resolved, it'll be time to incorporate the music and the game will be ready to try it. Sure I need beta tester, so if anyone is interested in helping, stay tuned for future updates.

  • mercuryus i created a new layout and assigned the event sheet to this layout also but this was not my problem. I want to use the object types of the first layout into the new created layout which i am unable to do. But still thanks for the help. I got how to use the object types of a single layout in multiple different layout.

    If you duplicate the layout it will create a new one with all the objects of the first.
