  • Hey guys,

For a new game-idea I try to use Construct-3 to create fake 3D like top-down game with 3D objects. My game wont have much objects on screen at the same time, so I can afford to create lots of stacked sprites.

I am using sprite-stacking plus the z-elevation to create the desired effect.

My question is: is this the right way to do it ?

What are the alternatives ? Is there an easier way ?

The example has a building, a buildin with a balcony, a pine-tree (solid 3d object) and a red-framewire-ball (complex 3d object). The buildings are immovable. The red en green objects have ball-physics.

  • hi,

I make extensive use of scaling my layout.

I try to make a very very long zooming out sequence.

After updating from r134 to r136 the scaling seems to make sprites dissapear.

Sorry for the bad English. Im in a bit of a hurry.

Here is an example construct3 project with the zooming.

If you zoom out (with mousewheel) too much, the big objects dissapear.

I think it has to do with the new z-elevation feature.

How do I revert back to r134 (or fix this) ?

    thnx for da reading.

    greets, ozz
