  • From what I've been hearing, it's not even working across different computers. Like I said, "only same-browser and same-computer host/clients."

It would be nice to hear some direct clarification though. I think they may be testing something now, because the signalling server is down.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • HZGaming, multiplayer is out for beta testing for paid (which I see you are), so go ahead and download the latest beta (R134 if I'm not mistaken) and test it out!

However, from what I've been reading, there is something wrong that causes only same-browser and same-computer host/clients to connect to each other.

  • Ditto what Naji said. I followed exactly what you said you did and got no errors.

  • At my first guess, unique views are the total number of times your profile has been viewed by unique IP addresses. Total ("normal") views are most likely from every time that page is viewed. As in one user can be counted multiple times.

  • ^Yes, it was mentioned before as well. We will be able to use our own signalling server.

  • No yeah I'm having a similar issue. I cannot connect host/peers from Chrome to Firefox or vice versa. However, I can connect any number of same-browser clients/host to eachother.

    Very confused.

    Alright,

    A really big update

I am combining the current exporter into my own Game Studio software

Okay neat. Sounds good and all. What about Construct 2? Are you going to support C2 files to be natively compiled as per what sounded like your original idea?

  • 8601! ;D It's the final countdown! *cue music*

  • I love the life that that animation brings into your game. Thumbs up and good luck with your project. It looks amazing, so far!

  • For the whole "why make users wait?" deal, why not just allow it to be skipped with any input? Or make use of it by, like someone else mentioned, preloading objects/sounds/& whathaveyou?

  • Thanks for the tips! This is helpful when considering some basic game design and execution.

  • -Why there is no ads companies for html games but so lot for mobile games?

I'm guessing it's because mobile games are meant to be played within one screen, not a browser, so there are more ad companies willing to focus in on the mobile gaming aspect.

Browser-based games are generally left to ad companies that support traditional website ads. So Google AdSense and the like.

There's probably a better way to word that, but nonetheless it seems to be true.
