  • See, patience pays off. This forum is just amazing, isn't it?

This is a shoot 'em up game where you have to survive an infinite swarm of zombies as long as you can. Maybe it will have a story later, but for now, this is all it has to offer. The gameplay isn't really innovative in any way, but is fast-paced, and in my opinion, enjoyable. Try it out for yourself:

It might be worth checking the description and controls for the game, especially if you find the UI hard to understand. The game's graphics are minimalistic mainly because I can't draw.

Any feedback is appreciated, please leave a comment or a reply.

  • Just wanted to let anyone who's looking for an alternative know that Chrome's developer tools has this feature (https://developers.google.com/web/tools ... -viewports) and so does Safari (https://developer.apple.com/safari/tools/). Other browsers may have it too, I use only these.

  • I sent a PM yesterday, but haven't heard back. Have you found someone?

  • Hi, I'm a game designer and a programmer, and this project seems interesting, but it would be helpful if you could give some more information, like what genre the game would be or what the story will be. I saw that you want to put it up on the Play store, so I'm guessing it's mainly for smartphones. Anyway, email me at daem_on(at)icloud.com

  • Good to hear that it worked out for you, but I don't really understand. Why would you set the opacity with the 'value only' option if there's an 'opacity' option too?

  • I assume that the score on the game layout is stored in a variable. If not, just add a variable on the game layout's event sheet and every tick set the variable to the score. You probably already have a text object on the final layer that says "Your score was ...", note that this object must be unique and not just the instance of a text object used somewhere else. Anyway, in the final layout's events, create an On start of layout, and add a (text object with score)>Set text. In here, you can just say "Sorry pilot" or something (if you have that text already with another object then you don't need that) and after that put an & to add up the strings, and just put in the name of the variable that you saved the score in. So it should be like this:

    "Your score was" & TotalScore

In this case TotalScore is the variable.

  • Hey.

If it's NOT a space shooter / arcade-like game again, then I'm interested.

I think I'd be best as a Coder or Web Manager (perhaps both).

    Check out my work: http://daemons.ml

  • Thank you all.

YoHoho, I don't think that's how it works, but good idea.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I've never really used Construct 2's built-in visual effects settings, but I decided to give it a try. I made this top-down, realistic and randomly moving water.

    See the result here: http://daemons.esy.es/waterfx

These are the three different water effects that I've created, all of them are made up of two or three objects on top of each other, but all on the same layer. This is possible without the project containing a single line of code. The textures were not made by me, they were all downloaded from different websites with several of them being free for any use. This is currently just a proof of concept and cannot even be used in a game, but I plan on making a set from which you can easily copy these effects to your own games.

Anyway, tell me if you like it and what you think should be changed, and what types of water I should add.

  • Hi, I'm Daemon and I'll be honest I'm just here for the badge.

But I introduced myself and now I don't feel guilty!

  • I'm interested in joining but i can't send a PM (because reputation). But email me: daem_on [at] icloud.com
