I'm curious, why didn't you call it Asteroids 2015?
Ran smoothly on my Note 4. The game is simple and fun, I enjoyed it.
The ad was annoying though, lol. I understand the game is ad supported but it sucks that the ad played at a weird time and got me killed when I got back to the game.
I recommend using Sprite Font instead. That way you don't have to worry about whether the system has the font or not.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Ohh i think i understand now you are suggesting that i pin invisible objects around my main character and check if these objects get hit. Brilliant solution thank you very much
Correct. You would create some invisible objects and pin them to where you need them on your character and then those objects are the ones you want to detect collisions with.
You could pin different hit detectors around your main object and then check when something hits that hit detector. You can turn the hit detector invisible.
You can publish the game and upload it to a website, yes.
It's pretty cool. I'd like to see more
I'm also having this issue. I hope someone can help.

Have you tried using the Flapping Bird, Infinite Jumping, or the Auto-Runner template? Click on File -> New and select one of the templates. You can learn a lot from those. Sounds like it covers what you want to learn.
