  • BluePhaze the spriter plugin work on Mobile devices? And i am not sure if spriter works with sprites peices that are as small as mine.Tweening would be alittle crazy being they are so tiny.I have them preanimated in parts so the animating is there i just need to pin it to the main character.

  • Thanks You Guys,And if i was being alittle confusing its because this is my first Character in peices that i have tried to place together as one.I just dont understand the events i should use after pinning it,Like you said Nimtrix i will need to update the position every tick for it to look like its naturally one sprite. Zantium Richard Stennett thanks guys for replying.like i said this is my first character in parts like this.I am redoing my whole character to make it better for the player.

  • Hi everyone,

    im wondering how to go about placing my character sprite together if i have him in two seperate sprites,For instance i have his hands seperate from his body for item switching.The hands have seperate animations along with the body,is it possible for me to pin my Hand animation to my body sprite and have them both work independently? I needed this for bounding Box reasons also so i can make my character carry bigger weapons.

  • Actually im still pretty early in development and with this info i can move forward with this project,Thank you Paradox i did check them out,that was where i learned how to do what i did so far,with some added features like being able being able to move left or right while on the ladder,I just didnt want to include bumpers to collide with.It would be buggy for me in my situation since the player will be able to place these ladders freely.Thanks again guys

  • Discmach I think if it isnt broke dont fix it,when it comes to the art and feel,that alone will change the game,Music,monsters possible story line,level creation are prime targets for change.But thanks for the reply man it does mean alot to get feedback! good karma too you

  • Nimtrix i havnt used the family feature at all as of yet but i will give it a look.But really if i put all my solids in a family wouldnt give me the total solution,Im really asking How do I check for all solids or do i just place all my solids in a family and then just check for the Family? I think im close,i just want to be sure.

  • Nimtrix Thanks man this is kinda what im looking for but how could i be more Broad like Checking for any Solid and not just that Tile? This will be a sandbox game so the player will be able to place ladders anywhere he or she wants to place them.I just want to avoid all issues with solids altogther.

  • It would also be good to know if you can make Maps similar to whats shown in the pictures.SAS3 has over 1 Million Downloads and i think we can top them.

    Here a something similar to the style im looking for,The one issue is the characters are just two small! I have took this game around Older People and they have litterally said the game itself is just two tiny,I think we can clone this game but take it a few steps further,having decent art is a big part of it.To get back to the asset part for you guys,We will need somewhere in between 5 to 10 different monster types 5 being zombie types and 5 being something in the genre that would mesh well with zombies for instance Skeletons.Hud elements will be limited because i want to keep the screen clean<img src="http://s.cafebazaar.ir/1/upload/screenshot/com.ninjakiwi.sas3zombieassault2.jpg" border="0" /> Here is a really good example,But i want to get rid of the map system,the worlds are never big enough for a gps system.The pickups will mostly be Cash since you have to stay alive we will take a stratigic approach on how to use the cash,But we also have to bring in some BLOODTHIRSTY POWERUPS/Perks and just Oldschool TopDown action thats been missing from games lately.Most of this stuff is in IDEA mode,its all manifesting in thought so we can start basic and move forward with a flawless system for TDS.If anybody needs more info or if these pics dont load just type in SAS3 on google Images you cant miss it.Thank You

  • Whatsup everyone,

    I have a link here to my game and im having an issue with my ladder,I somehow keep ending up in the ground can someone look at this and give me an explanation.Its not a capX file but a demo of my issue. The controls are platform movement,left,right,up,down arrows. I usually would fix this isue with a check for solids code but im not sure how to do that on construct 2 yet.THE DEMO

    Im here because i have an idea for a top down shooter game but at the moment i am paying a good deal of money for artwork on my personal project.I want to make Something similar to SAS3 on the Android Market.The catch is i want to have objectives in game.Most zombie top downs do not have much happening in game but alot of shooting.The sprites im looking to find will need to be atleast 48x48.I would like to release this game for free but maybe if the content is good enough it will be worth a buy.Profit share is 50/50 between artist and myself.If your interested just leave me a pm.Thanks everyone.
