    Working on a remake of Alex The Kidd - In The Miracleworld.

    All the textures are re-made in Photoshop. Nothing fancy yet

    But I have plans to extend the game with new PowerUps elements :)

  • Ah, I never thought of the collision boxes <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Again, you guys have helped me very much. Now I just need the enemy to flip around when he has hit the questionmark-box. I have re-made the texture myself in Photoshop by the way :)

  • Thanks, this really helped :D I was struggling all day with this, before I decided to make the post. By the way, this is a little off-topic, but I`m also have a second problem. The player dont start on the texture-ground, but on the layout "floor".

  • I`m wondering how I can make the player lose a live when he get killed by a enemy. Heres the capx:

    I tried with global and instant value, but nothing works.

  • Hmm, I tried to clear my cache and I have checked that my Scirra profile mail and my Gravatar profile mail match, but I don`t have my Gravatar yet?

    It`s like two days since I registred my Gravatar-profile.

  • I can`t figure out how to add

    "moneyobject.value to player.currentmoney"

    on the moneyobject. The . gives me a invalid-character when I

    add the codeline to the instance variable.

  • So, I have to add a value to the money-sprite?

    And when the player collect the money-sprite the player-sprite need

    to figure out what value that money-sprite contains?

    Like as you said:

    On player collision with money object

    add moneyobject.value to player.currentmoney (Number which is money)

    Correct me if I`m wrong :)

    I also want to add that I want to have a text-box that shows how many moneys the player have picked up. Thanks for all your help so far!

  • As the topic say, I`m wondering how I let the player carry a value from a object after the player has picket it up. Like in my Alex The Kid - In The Miracle World remake, I want to carry 1 coin from a money-object.

    I have tried to search the forum for a similar idea, but I only found

    this tread: scirra.com/forum/picking-up-coins-and-scoring-points_topic53475.html, but that didn`t worked.

  • justifun: I can`t see "fall down" anywhere. Using the latest version.

    AnD4D: My English is pretty good, but I dont use Skype :) I`m more comfortabel on forums, if that is ok.

    What I want to do: When the player hits the object, the "explosion" animation which I have created, starts. Like so:
