Do you use a 256 color pallet? They look very "authentic 8-bit" ( I am 42 years old, I know these things from first hand accounts.)

Hey thanks! I used the NES color palette and tried to stick to the real guidelines for the tiles. I always try to limit colors in my pixel art, gives a much more retro vibe.

Some of you may know that I was working on a prototype called 8 Bit Crypt. After tons of feedback, I decided to expand on the project and give it a bit more life. It has slowly become Kidd Crypt. There is still a ton of work to do, and several things to add, but here is a decent snapshot of where I am. Id love any feedback you can give. Thanks so much!

Hi guys, so Im making a game and in the controls I have to use the "on key release" action quite a bit to make the controls work. I decided to add the gamepad and touch controls to the game, but I cant figure out how to make that work. Is there an equivalent action for the joysticks and or touch? Havent been able to figure it out. I can make the Dpad work, but not with the joystick etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, Ive been quite busy lately working on several projects.. But my main focus has still been BitCrypt. Thanks to all of the feedback from everyone who played it on here, and on several other forums and game portals, Ive decided to make it into a full blown game. Ive reworked the graphics to polish the game up, Im reworking the mechanics to make them feel smoother, and Im adding tons of new levels, new mechanics, and a short story to why you are there in the first place. After that, we well see how it goes. I can see building other crypts to explore, and adding on to this project over time. Anyway, Ill shut up now, and show you what Ive been working on. Hope you like it!
