  • Anyone got an idea how I can make a jumping mechanic between two vertical walls?

I want the object (a simple sprite) to jump between two walls. And somehow make the jump "bend" upwards.

Kind of hard to explain, so here's an image to help me explain it:

  • Hi all,

I'm trying to get back into iOS app development. Last time I did this was with Ejecta.

But now it seems like Ejecta is deprecated and now we're supposed to use Cordova.

My question is like the title says; how do I even export a project with cordova and get it into xcode so I can submit my app from there?

  • Tried c3, just hope the final version won't on the browser. Prefer an actual software much more!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Title pretty much sums it up.

Is there a mac supported version of C2 planned?

Would love to be able to work on games portable with my laptop!

  • Judging from the file name, it seems like it's been updated to 1.3.1 and I still have the blackscreen on launch bug :/ Using NWjs 19 and sdk 1.38A

  • So when I export with this plugin and export as a nwjs project, it just launches a small black screen. Doesn't initialize the game. Though preview works in construct!

Is this fixed in the next version?

  • Even my additions.xml does not have those lines of codes !! Any idea how to solve it??

    I Followed the tutorial properly...

If the code in your additions.xml didn't add in automatically, then something's wrong with the plugin itself or you haven't installed it correctly. Remember to use both the C2 plugin AND the intel XDK plugin

  • Where can I download this?

Is the overlay-issue that Ashley's plugin has fixed?

  • Problem Description

Using the greenworks plugin, steam overlay does not work on PC's using nvidia GPUs. Works fine on another computer I tried it with using a intel GPU. Others has encountered this being an issue on their nv GPUs, from what I've read on the plugin thread.

    Attach a Capx

No need, since it's the plugin in general

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Install the plugin by instructions from Ashley
    • Upload game to steam pipe
    • Try to activate overlay (shift+tab)

    Observed Result

Nothing happens. The box saying "press shift+tab to enable steam overlay" doesn't even show up.

    Expected Result

Steam overlay should appear, aswell as the tip-box.

    Operating System and Service Pack

Tested on Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

Good news! The latest official Greenworks release works with NW.js 0.13.0-beta7 (which is now available at scirra.com/nwjs). However for some reason they didn't include the 32-bit builds of Greenworks! The 64-bit build works. The last hurdle now is just to get ahold of those 32-bit versions, then we can ship Greenworks in C2 itself.

Any news on the overlay issue? Is this fixed in the new greenworks release?

  • Looks cool! Just purchased it and hopefully it'll help me learning some pixel art and animations, looks like animating is easier there than on PS

    > Yeah doesn't work on my main PC, using a nvidia gpu. Damn

    >

Yeah very annoying that Steam overlay injection fails on many NV GPU, since NV are the dominant dGPU brand, very popular for gamers.

This must be a plugin issue though, checked around on the steamworks forum and nobody has experienced this before, and people said that the overlay has nothing to do with GPU. So my guess is that it's a plugin/c2/html5 issue which hopefully means Ashley can fix it
