    Just came across your post. I'll help to clear it up a little bit.

    No you can't. There are two reasons (at least I know only two). First of all CooconIO has no option to edit app version (this is actually a good thing, cause CooconIO does it for you automatically, where with IntelXDK you had to remember to increment the ID before you publish your APK). And the second reason is that there are different sign certificates and Google Play refuses to accept the APK with different certificate.

    So if you are on alpha/beta stage, you can always remove the app from Google Play and create it again. If your app is released to production already then it's too late. At least I don't know the way to do so.

    Yes. However you will have to use their plugins. It's absolutely not a big deal. You simply download their C2 plugins and implement it the same way you do it with C2 AdMob and CordovaIAP plugin. Worth to mention that CooconIO works with both managable and non-managable products for IAP and both banners and interstitals for Ads.

    You also can use the built-in admob plugin by scirra and the Cordova AdMob plugin by cranberrygame instead. But yes, to avoid any conflicts it's recommended to use the offical plugin. But you can use AdMob and mopub ID's with it. Moreover you can use any network (chartboost, ...) aslong you have added it to your mopub dashboard.

    The same applies to the CocoonInApp plugin <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink"> You also can use the one provided by cranberrygame (like all other cordova plugins).

    With all other points I have to agree with you. As far as I know ludei works on it to exclude some permissions, but I guess the most will remain, sorry for that.

    Just came over this post.

    Thank you Caleb for opening that up. I'm glad to help you guys with all C2 relevant issues in the cocoon forum. I also give my very best to keep the wiki on shatter-box.com up to date.

    It would be awesome if scirra would consider to support cocoon.io offically in Construct 2, but that's not a decision of me or us. This must ludei discuss with scirra, or scirra with ludei I already wrote Ashley about a bug that only appears for cocoon.io built games, but sadly it's still not fixed. (It's about the scalling issue).

  • Update for Ludei users.

    If you build now your games with the "latest" compiler version it will use the latest Cordova Version.

    Before, "latest" directed to version 1.3.0. That's why the user which have selected "2.0.0" manually didn't get the message anymore.

    Claim down dude just a phishing email, let see google did't send to you.

    Ps. Hope you not input personal information yet LOL .

    It should be pretty obvious that this is a phishing mail. Always check your Account first.

    It's common knowledge that Google will not send you such mails. Same applies to any other service like PayPal.

    Always login to your account first and check if there is a message or something else.

  • Nothing to worry about guys i was but i understand it now

    they are stating that you will not be able to publish apps or updates to apps built with less than cordova-androidkqa@4.1.1 beginning May 9, 2016. Your existing published versions will remain available in the store after that date, and any updates you apply to your apps before that time will also be available in the store

    when a update come out the only thing we Dev have to do is just rebuild our game

    example Sudoku Nano version 1.2.0 just update it to Sudoku Nano version 1.2.1 when intel or cocoon or whoever upgrade there compiler before May 9, 2016

    We as users and ashley don't. It's up to Intel and Ludei... just be patient!

  • Hi!

    This issue has nothing to do with Construct 2. Intel XDK and CocoonIO just use older Cordova versions for their compilers.

    Intel and Ludei will update their compilers. Up to now this warning has no affect on your games.

    Just be patient and give Intel and Ludei some time to migrate a newer version to their compilers
