  • I have a project that has lots of animations. I compressed my PNG's with PNGGauntlet program and their approximate size is about 70KB. But after using and exporting them in Construct 2 their size is about 130-200 KB. Is there a way for reducing size?

    I simply try to add a Windows 7 like start menu system. On different menu options different pages will be loaded. And menu will be on the top of Iframe. But trying to change Z-Order for Iframe didn't have an effect. Iframe looks like always on top. Here is a example for r129

    I upload a capx and a video. It's a exact 3 second video but calculation time changes every time. And even with this value i don't how to seek to a specific time

    First i want to say thanks for this great plugin.

    I mean the frame of the video.

    Here's my test:

    Because of Z-Order didn't worked I tried this solution. I rendered first and last frame as a image. After the end of the video i moved the video to negative coordinates. And call the last frame as an image. The coordinates of the image and video seems fine on C2 but they're moving a fex pixels in browser.

  • Also i want to add a sprite to top of video. Editing Z-Order has no effect. Sprites shown always at the bottom of the video

    In this course i also give info about splines, nurbs and graphic algorithms etc. WEBGL and core HTML5 can be used for creating this type of stuff. But for students, i looked for a more simple solution like construct 2

  • I worked in a vocational school about computer programming. We have 3 course about graphic and animation. In first course we teach Photoshop&Gimp, in second course 3ds max&Blender and for third course Flash. Flash is very slowly developed in years and a closed source program. I changed the third course and started to use Construct 2.

    There are also some web programming lessons about Dreamweaver&Visual Studio&ASP.NET. But these tools not adding much interactivity to web pages as Flash.

    My students love Construct 2 and its far more easy than Flash. But still some Flash like features is missing.

    For example creating Powerpoint style animation capabilities, For examle chancing color of a specific pixel of sprite. Construct is missing per pixel animation abilities. But HTML5 supports this types of things.
