  • Hi Toby, thank you for your prompt reply. I have figured out the reason and now the video is able to be shown. It was due to Admob filtering settings.

Regarding the error message, it was shown whenever I tried to initiate the C2 "Run Layout" function:

    Javascript error!

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property "load" of undefined http://localhost:50000/CocoonRewardedVideo_plugin.js, line 151 (col31)

Not sure if this is related to what you have mentioned above?

    Kind Regards,

    Paul

  • Hi, I have purchased this plugin yesterday and have added it to my project, linking the event sheet from this plugin to my other event sheets and assigned the buttons for showing reward video.

I have just published my game on Google Play Store but upon tapping on the assigned buttons, there was no response at all. May I ask why is that?

In addition, when I include this event sheet with my other event sheets, it would cause C2 preview function error.

For your information, I have already inserted the Admob ID to the plugin.

  • Thanks for your reply, and I think there is no clear line to define for example, I have learnt from a template how to put together a game or game function, it is unavoidable that many of the event setup I will use will be very close to or even sometimes identical (since otherwise such event won't work) to what I learnt from the template example. Even I am not going to just copy and paste them into my project, sometimes there is really no difference.

For example, school forbids students to copy each others homework. However, if a student had the chance to read through a schoolmate's homework and already knew what are the correct answers, even he did not "copy" the answers, it is hard not to put in the right answers that he already knew? In such case, one could only expect minor wording and/or sequential differences in both of their home work.

  • Thanks! This helped a bunch!

  • Hi all, I have a question regarding the "one commercial project only" limitation based on the royalty free license, which applies to assets bought from the SCIRRA game store.

May I ask if I have learnt everything from a purchased project template's event sheet, I can create as many commercial projects as I like, as long as I use all my own materials? (e.g. UI, art, sound .etc.).

Even with similar event sheet setup, it will be fine as long as I don't copy and paste the events from the asset to my project?

I just want to know how far the "one commercial project only" limitation goes before purchasing a template from the store.

    Many thanks.

  • Hi all, I am new with C2 and just finished created my first game.

Currently trying to build my apk file using Intel XDK but am getting stuck, since IntelXDK is not able to generate Android certificate anymore.

As I am not able to build the apk file of my game, I am not able to publish through Android Developer Console to get the certificate.

Not sure what I should do now? Sorry for this might be a noob question, but I have been searching through tutorials and both Intel XDK and this forum without success.

    Many Thanks,

    Paul
