  • Hello everyone,

    I used awesomium to export a EXE version on my PC Windows 8, and it worked very well. How can I export for Mac OS and Linux using awesomium? Do I need to be using Construct 2 on a Mac OS or on a Linux computer to work?

    Are there another way to export to Mac OS and Linux?

  • It's more or less working, but not perfect. My behavior is like this:

    The character is on duck when I press down and he changes the animation if I do any other input, like walk or jump. The problem is he doesn't back to normal after released the down key.

    I tried to use the idle animation if duck is false, but then the character is always on idle.

    Do you know how can I "back to normal" if duck is false?

  • Humm. I can't see any problem to have steam opened in offline mode. But at the same time I don't know if 15 euros less is enough to always have the steam opened to use it :P

    Other important thing. Should I have a new account to to use the Steam version?

    I saw Contruct 2 is a bit cheaper in Steam today. Is there any difference between buy at the site or Steam? Do I need to be online to use if I buy the steam version?

    I'm trying to work in a game like 16 bit platform action game and I'm using the platform behavior. But I would like to have:

    • Double Jump
    • Wall Sliding and Wall Jump
    • Crouch
    • Dash and Air Dash
    • Attack

    I know I can just use commands to have those movements, but is it possible to have this inside the platform behavior to have a better animation management?

    Can I change the jump button instead of Up Arrow to any other button?

    I started to use the engine yesterday and I'm pretty impressed. I used to use a different "no programming" engine for a while, but now I'm looking for different possibilities for a new platform game project. I know there are a lot of material online in the tutorials and forum (I already read many of those), but I would like to ask somethings before buy it.

    How it would be the performance of a platform game like a 16 bit style Castlevania/Metroid complexibility) for mobile platforms using Construct 2? Does it have USB controller (XBOX and/or generic) support for 2 or more players on PC/MAC? Is it possible to have a in game purchase system using Apple Store, Google play or another system? Does it have any ads system support? Is it possible to have a Android version for Ouya? I would like to have some movements like wall sliding, wall jump and others. The platform template doesn't have these movements, but can I add it somehow?
