  • Hey there friends,

I'd love to take my 1000th post to make a little contest and to thank you for being such a great community!

Thanks for more than 2 years with this awsome software, thanks for countless hours of fun and sometimes mind grinding problems. Thanks for a gazillion "ähhh" and "Ohhh" moments, thank you for all the nice people i met from all over the world. Thank you for the genius feeling of making your own app. Thank you for countless constructive comments and Information. Thank you for introducing me the fantastic world of computergame developement, thank you for all your great examples, tutorials and plugins. Thank you for this experience, thank you for this journey! Thank you community guys and a real big thank you to London in the centre of this universe! You are all beaverlicious!:-)

Soo yeahh... Just wanted to share that with you. Here comes my little celebration contest.

Simply make a posting and tell me whats the most beaverlicious thing in your life or the world in general?:-)

Top ten comments, which I'll choose by creativity, can choose one from any asset I have on the store at the moment. Contest lasts this weekend! Be creative, be beaverlicious!:-)

  • There are no tricks or tipps in general for such a huge amount. Just make a genius game that people like....that´s all!

  • Looks great man real complex!

  • Thanks Tom and thanks thiagosantostsd for not taking it personal.

I really don´t want to annoy anyone. It´s just a basic to be save buying and selling stuff here.

    Have a great weekend guys!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • If I were Scirra dudes, I´d take this asset down immediately honestly. It´s simply piracy, which can get people into a lot of trouble!

You made your hooks while uploading that you are allowed to sell this stuff but you simply aren´t allowed to as it´s Nintendo´s assets! Telling that you just sell game design doesn´t change anything.

You sell things to people who think they can use it in their games (even commercially) and lead them into a trap. What if Nintendo ever gets a lawyer on them....

I´m honest and I reported this a few days ago...nothing happened. This is definitely not how a store should work Tom Ashley Kyatric

All these kitchen and weightgain postings are deleted immediately, how can this still be up as it´s obviously a copyright violation?

This is a fundamental of a serious store and nothing personal against thiagosantostsd, but there shouldn´t be any tolerance against this....never!

  • megatronx

    Same here...

To me it simply can´t compete to Quake n stuff for example. I just like the cartoon style a lot:)

  • +1 for this

  • Thanks man Really looking forward to see your solution.

Unfortunately I have to wait til Monday, cause I don´t have C2 access cause of Macintosh-only-weekend at my parents

  • This looks really promising and has got a real good feel already Good job!

I also like your gib-system, do you mind to share the Capx with me?

  • Hey there friends,

I´m currently working on a prototype for a template game on the Scirra Store. It should be a micro-machine like, jetski wave race pool game

If that sounds weird, just have a look at the picture I attached.

Making these Photoshop assets, lead me into some questions about a cool look.

Well what I would like to ask is how do I make the best looking water effect for this? This wavy surface is a seperate layer and I guess it just needs a little distortion to look good, when it´s not moved...

this leads me to my next question How do I make some kind of dynamic waves of objects that move through it? Is this even possible with a WebGL Shader or C2 effect?

Just have a look here, if you don´t know what I mean

I would love to see some tips for this Thanks for the upcoming help and take it beaverlicious!
