  • Ok ... I will read that tutorial. Thanks for informations. Actually , after I played your game ( that is very fun ), I was thinking of making something similar ... a drone that can carry objects ... but with a more simple control of it. Good luck on making games !

  • The game uses the "PHYSICS" behavior

    Here is where i got started learning about how to implement it.

    In my game the ship has the physics behavior, when you press a key, it applies a force in a direction to make it fly, or turn .

    If you go to your file menu in Construct 2 and click "NEW", you can choose a whole series of example programs starting with "Physics Basics" and others that explain forces, impulse, joints etc.

    These all helped me to get going with physics.

    I look forward to seeing something like your cool 3d robot flying around

  • Nice Game. I am curious how you made the control system of the ship, maybe you can drop here a screenshot.

    What part of the ship control do you mean? The little animated guy?

  • UPDATE Game tutorial levels

    1st attempt at making tutorial levels for people who are having difficulty piloting the ship. If you tried this game and couldnt stop crashing try the first level tutorial...did it help?

  • Hi,

    The little space guy 's head in my game explodes when he crashes (dies). Its not particularly graphic. Do i need a plus 18 rating for this? I don't want my game banned so i listed it as "adult content".

    Made a few new graphics to replace placeholders...new "cave grass", new "Stalactite" new cave slime...also simplified level 3 and 4.

  • Mulling over some story ideas...maybe have chores assigned by "MOTHER" who may or may not turn out to be an supercomputer protecting you because you are the last human on earth...Maybe a tv screen with a little video segments... thinking

  • Update 1.4.1

    Fuels gauge shows red when at 1/4 tank. Level two shortened...just go up and left to land...level 3 shortened, up left down. Can anyone make it to level 4?

    What is the hardest parts of these levels?

    When and how do you die?

    Let me know...will try and make it more playable...many thanks

  • UPDATE!

    I redid level 2 to make it a bit more reasonable...took out blocks that you have to push over...will make that a feature later on, Fixed the fuel bar moving past full, have to fix the low fuel animation, after day job <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">.

    Anyway, yall see if you can make it to level three, trying to balance the game. Level 2 starts with full fuel, i have it set up so there is that option(auto refueling)...we shall see.

  • tis actually pretty adicting! the bkg tutorials are cool too.

    call me a lightweight, but whattabout autorefuel it each level? :S

    You know...i used to start each level with full fuel...kind think it is a challenge to have to remember to pick up fuel...

    I dont know yet...anybody else have an opinion on this?

  • So i redid the first level to make it a bit simpler I hope. Also added some BG images to show some of the controls. Let me know if you can make it to level 2. Many thanks!
