i want to start my first platformer with this engine. But i dont want to make a Platformer like many beginner do this. I want to Show that beginner also can make great games when they invest just enough time. I started desgining already. Then i looked for good YouTube playlists how to make a platformer with c2. But there are many different. Wich tutorial would you choose. My platformer should just base on the tutorial. It should be a Long tutorial. Maybe someone can also tell me: Should i buy just the personal or the bundle with the Programm spriter.

I think for the first or secound game its verry good. But one think there is missing: impreesiv graphics, because were are the animations for idle,... i understand why its difficult to make graphics if you prefer programming. Im also new on programming, but for graphics search for other graphic design beginner. Build i a little team if you understand. Also i would some feaatures. I think he can add a lot of things like death score, shop and so on. After that i would release the game.

Out of topic: i think (but im not sure) that you just want to promote the game. Because this is a forum for construct 2 not for unity. So think on this next time.

Thank you verry much. I dont want to hear a complete story. That would be stupid. I meaned maybe somebody has a idea like the balls. Did i understand right? If you have the balls in hand you cant jump but if you do them away you cant control your person so good. MPlant maybe it would be an idea, to put in the jmp and Run places where if the balls are in something hapens( z.b. a door gets open). Its verry nice that you take you the time to answer me.

Im not sure. But i had the idea that the main person is a paper box and a story about it. I think a little story would be great. Have you any ideas for a story?

I want to make a 2 d platformer (look at my thread in the ideas forum for the idea). The game will have a modern comic design. But im new on design flat backrounds and so on. Maybe some of can tell my wich free programm i should use and maybe someone can show me a tutorial for that. Thank you for your tipps.

Yes there already exists a game like this. It's called youtube.com/watch 'Solomon's Key'.

It has the ability to not only create 2 blocks but destroy existing blocks as well. Also, gameplay wise you could consider The legend of Zelda's Cane of Somaria that allows you to create and destroy 1 block for any use.

Ah ok. Thanks for your answer. But i think you dont understand what i mean. It should be a platformer like super mario without rooms (maybe for bosses). It should be a modern comic design. Do you think that is enough difference to other games or have you any ideas how i can make more difference?
