I have been given an assignment to design / build an app that automatically changes its configuration/UI etc., when flipped from tablet to laptop mode OR viceversa ( Specifically on 2 in 1 Dell XPS Ultrabook).

The problem is that the above articles refer only to C# code and looks like nothing equivalent is available in Javascript / Construct2 to support the same ( Pls correct if I am wrong)...

I know that we can detect mouse / touch inputs and accordingly change the UI / configuration of an app...But how do I change the UI configuration automatically in Construct2 in Ultrabook when changing over from laptop to tablet while the user is in the middle of some work inside the app? Any ideas, then please let me know. I thought about detecting accelerometer angle but in some specific cases of laptop orientation vs table mode, even this will not be useful

1. What are the general advantages of using canvas element than using the <div> or html for displaying charts?

2. Do the canvas rendered charts have better performance or Is the UI richer OR something else?

3. Also could you tell me if this can be achieved using the "c2canvas" id directly or should use a canvas plugin like R0j0hound's canvas plugin?

4. Some insight into your plugin - runtime.js code will help me to learn more about manipulating with canvas features and integration with external SDK's

Ubivis, I did look at chart.js..In my humble opinion, though the presentation of the charts are good they doesn't have much interactivity and we can't read out the values by pointing the mouse over the chart etc., The API interface for Google chart also allows to build the charts dynamically by passing the datasets ( either from server or PHP or through AJAX calls etc.,).
