  • Entirely made with Construct 2!

    Description:

Three games to master. Flappy's too tired to flap anymore, so he is taking a ride on different airborne vehicles. Rules are the same: tap to save the clone bird's life! But, in each game a tap does something different...

    Like the different playing styles?

  • soma, in your Windows 8 dashboard, when you click on the project, there should be a few notes from the testers. I typically find those more helpful than the actual report.

  • Does anybody else get the problem of not being able to close event sheets and layout views with the ctrl+w shortcut?

On the versions I've used (r158.2 stable and some previous ones), by default it doesn't seem to work. But, after experimenting a little here's what I've found:

    • Right-clicking on the tab seems to enable closing via the ctrl+w hotkey. But, only for that tab.
    • If I right-click on the tab I'm in, then switch to another tab, ctrl+w closes the prior tab and not the one I'm on.

I'm using Windows 8.1, 64-bit, and haven't put this in the bug forum yet because I'm not sure if it is just my computer/OS.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Reilisson, I remember somebody looking up how to set solid walls on a maze they built in Photoshop. I'm not sure if they were ever able to do accomplish that method without manually drawing the collision polygon. But, their method might of have something to do with detecting colors from the image and not allowing the player on those colors..

  • Reilisson, yes, it is possible. What you have to do is adjust the "collision polygon" so that it doesn't cover the transparent area. Do to this, double-click on the sprite in Construct 2, then choose the option on the lower left of the screen that pops up.

Then, your player should be able to run into the solids properly.

  • KiratTheKop, hmmm, using those same steps I've gotten sound on my Windows Phone 8 (Nokia Lumia 820). What device do you have?

And, if I remember correctly, I think during the export process, Construct 2 renames the audio files to lowercase. So, are the WAV files you import the same as the renamed audio files?

Here's one of my apps that I just tested that has sound. Let me know if you also hear sound on it or not. App link

  • daeXecutoR, the Anchor behavior should definitely be working for you.

Can you post a minimal CAPX with what you put?

  • In addition to the link provided above, you can drag and drop a selection of many single images at once and they will automatically be put into an animation.

  • vtrix, in the past twenty releases I've used, I don't think it was ever possible. Just, about 5-10 or so releases ago, a using a constant string variable didn't give an error until compile-time, as opposed to at the time you add it.

  • slanw, `lerp()` is a system expression that allows you to smoothly change from one value to another. If you read the definition for it, then at first it may sound a little complicated, but basically, it allows for exactly what you are looking for.

    From the Manual:

    "lerp(a, b, x) Linear interpolation of a to b by x. Calculates a + x * (b - a)."

  • Thanks guys!
