• Hi everyone, game developer and audio guy here

I love indie games, but one thing that I've noticed about low-budget indies is that their audio has a tendency to be fairly flat. I never really looked into why that was until recently.

It makes sense that most solo developers won't have the money available to hire a full-time audio guy, but I never realized just how much sound libraries were selling for until I did some research. Seems like there are two routes for indies to go: free sounds (which have a tendency to be pretty low quality), or to shell out hundreds of dollars for the top-tier libraries. There wasn't all that much of a middle ground that I could see, so I thought "Why not make something to change that?"

    So, I present to you the Sci-Industrial Ambience Pack: https://bgregory.bandcamp.com/album/res ... ience-pack

My goal with this was to help bolster a developer's selection of environment ambience, a portion of audio in games that is commonly overlooked, and for a reasonable price ($5 USD). I put together a total of 54 loops that can really spice up a dark, sci-fi or gritty environment.

Let me know what you guys think If there's enough interest, I'd be willing to make more audio packs to help fellow developers get an edge over the competition in the realm of audio.
