    lemo Find references would be a great feature, and I'm hoping they will be added via the regular update process.

    This is a light hearted vote and nothing is at stake here, but I don't see how using a debugger is lazy practice, it has many uses, fine tuning positions of objects, timing of sounds and events, to name a few.

    Anything that makes the editor and ultimately any project made in construct 2 more robust has to be a good thing.

  • If this is more of a token gesture, then I would keep it simple.

    Approach her with the amount of work you will need to finish the game,

    decide how many hours work it will take for 100% of all the artwork required to be completed, add this up at $25.00 an hour, for the total to be payed...

    Ask yourself is that reasonable value...

    If so, pay in segments on work completed ie full tileset 30%,full characters and animations 50% ,full menus and GUI 10%...that way you will only pay when you receive and the motivation is still there for her to complete.

    You can undo with the image editor window open (multiple times) by pressing the back arrow, in the main editor...I only recently discovered that too!

  • I did post this on the Arcade forum, but was advised here would be better.

    Quite simply, the ratings are not working, and you are unable to rate a game, despite being told your rating has been recorded.

    This is leading to some very iffy games being highly rated, and any good games submitted recently will be totally overlooked.

    To any non C2 user, visiting the site, the Arcade would be considered a showcase of what Construct 2 can do...and looking at some of the games at the top, this is not a good advert.

  • Surely all you need to do is add another condition to your "drop" event?

    player is on screen, lives =x, object is on layer Y, ect ect.

    when I stumbled on this game by evaz

    It's a brilliantly presented retro platformer and it deserves more spotlight than it's getting...

  • I think you mean embed...it works on scirra arcade but not on your site?...

    I guess a website issue, I don't know enough about websites to help, maybe someone will, but you have to be patient.

  • Sad, but inevitable, Construct Classic has certainly helped in putting Scirra on the "gamemaking" map, Still a great program,but in the last 6 months C2 has really upped it's game in many areas, and using classic now, it is beginning to feel like the podgy dinosaur of the two...

    Debugger gets My vote, pretty essential in all but the most basic projects...with Modularity features a close second...

    Will all the lurkers stop voting multiplayer please?

    Anyone who thinks they gonna make the next C.O.D in C2 is dreaming...

  • Just finished it, The puzzles are really clever, but I am left wanting more...so when is the sequel?...

  • I have not looked at the zip, but after spawning your bullet you need to set the angle of movement or the angle to 270

    Also check on the properties bar to make sure you have rotate to angle unchecked if you don't want the bullet to change visible angle.
