you could do something similar using the Canvas plugin. It allows you to check the colour of any pixel in the canvas. This could then be translated into specific sprites for your world.

Same issue here on export to html5 or node.

if you open up your sprite in the editor and choose the set collision polygon icon ( bottom on the left ) you can then move the collision polygon to match your shape.

you cant use the physics behavior with the platform behavior in this way. Physics objects should be controlled with physics forces otherwise you get odd results.

doing it that way means turning off all layers other than the one you want to accept the input which is not always desired.

If i have a game layer and layer with a menu on. I should just be able to make the menu visible without having to make other layers invisible.

It may be difficult or break other things i dont know but it seems logical to me to have a simple toggle which disables all input to a selected layer or layers.

I love that game. I have a feeling you couldnt use the C2 Box2d physics engine. But it might be possible to fake the physics stresses involved when the bridge or tower you are building collapses.
