  • i see the screenshot now. Looks interesting.

  • I like the sushi art!

  • Thank you for sharing! It's pretty cool

  • Can you tell if this appears with other games by other people, or even the tutorials?

This might help you determine if its your system configuration or determine if its something you specifically are doing.

  • Could it be related to something else besides just the physics calculation?

For example, could it be reading player input differently?

The first thing I would try to is to hard code or program your character or another Non-playing character to do the same jump. That way you can rule out other variables and player input issues.

  • Pretty cool. However, there is a slight bug you might want to address. When you press P for pause, you can still rotate and shoot arrows that float in space until you unpause.

  • Wow. Really nice!

  • Thanks Ashley!

  • UPDATE:

I have determined the problem has to do with using CONSTANTS.

If you toggle the CONSTANT variable to not being a constant(C_LIMIT_BULLET_RELOAD in my example), the drop down populates as it should and it works.

If you then set it back to being a constant, the drop down for choosing the variable doesn't populate and freezes.

  • STEPS TO RECREATE:

         1. Add Event to compare a global variable to a constant variable (this part works fine)

         2. Add action to increment value of a globel value

PROBLEM: In the 'Parameters for System: Add To' screen and other options to change value of variable, the interface puts the selected variable in the VALUE field and not the Variable field. Actually, the Variable field cannot be selected or enabled to select a value.

    INLUDE BROWSER SYSTEMS AND SPECS:

         Windows XP SP3

         Browser: N/A

    Hopefully this is clear.
