  • We have a serious problem when using the built-in Tilemap which makes us use Rez Rainbow Tilemap Importer instead. Does Scirra have any plans to improve Tilemaps?

    We need a fill tool to properly lay tiles like a map editor does. OR we need a way for the rectangle tool to support the tile size we set which is 16 by 16. Instead it seems to only support 4x4.

  • Introduction

    I am a Construct 2 user that has a Personal License, who is pretty familiar with it, and I am also a programmer that specializes in tools and game editors. There's a lot I can offer. What I am looking for is paid work as a programmer or developer.

  • Unity is better for complex games. I use Construct 2 for simple games. The mere performance for Unity is smoother, too, and don't blame the Chromium team. HTML5 is just not ready.

  • Did you use the latest Ludei plugin? What's your rates for what you accept for ads like 1c or 5c?

    How much did they paid you to wrote that kind of things?

    I tried IntelXDK, it sucks and is not much better than PhoneGap. I would rather use Game Maker than Construct 2 if I was left with any other option.

    It will never be. IntelXDK uses Crosswalk which is a wrapper. CocconJS is native code, the reason why Flash is better than HTML5 cause it is native! A wrapper gives you an easier time to make it compatible with many more devices and usually has more HTML5 functionality when compared to CocconJS, but it sacrifices speed.

  • Crosswalk will never replace CocconJS since XDK is not native it is like PhoneGap - slower. Using anything but CocconJS makes HTML5 worse than Flash. HTML5 won't replace Flash, sorry. Flash may be old and poorly written, but it has almost 15 years on HTML5 that it was developed. It's going to take a lot longer to kill Flash than people think. HTML5 is only good cause of its simplicity to develop for. The speed is slower.

  • Update 5.1 and 5.2 Changes

    We also are now using Construct 2 v190 and Ludei 2.11.

  • I already contacted them several times. MoPub is not a good ad server. They still haven't fixed my earnings.

  • I've had a lot of trouble with MoPub while handling the game Lazy Rocket just for about 6 months.

    • Porn ads for general audiences got through.
    • Both of my ad units bugged up and had to make new ones.
    • Payment history was reset meaning all money we made went to $0.

    I've been contacting their support for these issues, still no solution for them or promise that they have been fixed.

    ✓ Fixed bugs with loading for first time launches.

    ✓ Misc. changes and bug fixes.

    iOS version is outdated still. Apple makes it a pain to update, and I do not own anything Apple personally.
