Pokemon itself has alot of factors in the overworld and the ingame battles, such as types,stats and not to mention the grass encounters. But it is possible, takes awhile, but its possible. As for phones, I'm not sure unless you can save the monsters on some online webserver or some jazz like that as I imagine adding 323 images could build up alot of memory usage and make it unplayable.

You don't need 323 images displayed at once. So RAM is not an issue. Also, 323 pngs, let say even 1000x10000px is not that heavy download wise.

You might want to experiment with the pathfinding behavior. Turn it on (give it a direction to find) a second after it's shot.

In US, the best way to approach it is get something on ebay.

Apple products will be easy - you can get iphone 3g/3gs for around $50-$60 on ebay.

Android is a bit more complicated, as there are many different models. Specs wise, I would advise something around Samsung Galaxy S (the first one, also known as SGS) if people (your potential clients) are getting new contracts, almost everybody will have specs beyond the SGS. Even the entry models (that are not very popular in US, but are quite popular in Europe and middle east) will have similar specs to the SGS. So if it will run well on SGS - it will run well on almost anything used nowadays ;)

For Windows 8 phone and Blackberry, at this time there isn't a good way to do it. If you are lucky, you might find nokia lumia on ebay or pre-owned somewhere.

Reading this, kinda hurts my brain. Also, I am surprised this thread is still going.

I guess Sogen is not that great in the matters of marketing. I will not go into detail how this business model works, but will end with this - free users generate paid users.

I think that Sogen might be a Troll, please do not feed the trolls.

EatCreatures - I do enjoy your art, but vector images are not for everyone.

How about making them .png, split into parts ready for animation with tools like spriter? I bet you would get more customers this way.

The "browser" we mean here is the default browser that comes with every android. It is not available on the google play. So basically, just go and start your original browser to access the app jayderyu is talking about.
