Don't use "Trigger once" with conditions that test multiple instances. "Trigger Once" doesn't work per instance, as long as condition is true for at least one instance, this event will not be triggered again for others.

Change your code like this:

Did you mean Axis(0,3)?

Axis(0,3) is the filtered input from right Y axis. RawAxis(0,5) is the unfiltered input from the same axis.

So in the event sheet A you call a function from event sheet B, without including B.

What if that function relies on other events from the event sheet B? Say, calls other functions or triggers some delayed events defined in B?

This can cause problems that will be very difficult to troubleshoot.

You character is global, so you don't need to create it in every level.

Stick is now pinned to the character. I also adjusted the origin image point on it.

Note, that I removed 10Mb of music from your 200Kb project :)

So you need a lightning ray like this?

I think it's better to use a sprite with multiple frames and very fast animation speed.
