The problem is that audio does not loop in preview. I've tried different platforms, but there is no looping music. The wierd part is that once the game is exported, the looping work just fine.

Steps to Reproduce Bug

• Import Audio
• Make an event where you play music
• Loop the music
• Preview

Observed Result

The music only plays one time

Expected Result

Looping music

Operating System and Service Pack

Windows 7 Home Premium | Service Pack 1

Construct 2 Version ID

Version 172

• I could not open the file, but i think i understand what your problem is.

If I was you, i would make different layouts and jump between them. In example: When player hits exit, go to another layout.

I use this method in my own game. I create a level layout, add the level details, copy the layout, remake the new layout, and i have now two levels with the same theme. (Backgrounds and static textures that repetes in different layouts). Now that i have two layouts, i make an exit in the firs layout. When the player collides with it, go to "Layer 2".

Hope this helped

• I tested it in my other computer, and i worked great! It looks like i have to make the game on "Computer 1" and test it on "Computer 2"

Can't wait to finish my games now! This was the only thing that held me back for finishing my games: I was not sure i could export them so other people could play. But, now that it works, I am going to work hard and finish them!

Thanks a lot guys! You have been very helpful!

A great thanks and a happy new year from Eivind Lervik

• Thanks! I composed the music myself. It is somthing i do with all my games

I play this game on my desktop. I checked, and I play the game on 100% zoom. (CTRL+0) I also checked if the game worked on firefox and there were still gaps between the tiles. Whats wierd, is that there are no gaps in Opera and Internet Explorer.

I have another computer that i am going to test my game on to see if the promlem is there as well.

• That was wierd... Well, good to know it works!

But, do you know why my Google Chrome display spaces between the tiles?

It is wierd that you got it to work in your Google Chrome, i I can not. It works in my other browsers.

Any clues?

• Hmm... now I am very confused....

Thanks for the help by the way. My graphix card was up to date. But, something funny happened now. When i try the game in Google Chrome, there are tile spacing, but in Internet Explorer the game function exactly as it should!

I thought it did not matter in what browser I that ran the game, but apparently it does matter.

What was the browser You viewed my game in?

• Hi!

I have some big problems when it comes to exporting my game. The game is inspired by "Terraria" and is made up by blocks that you can dig. There is only one problem; there is a small space between the tiles. I read a forum post where Ashley explained what could be done in order to fix this. I changed my properties to Point sampling and enabled pixel rounding, but the problem is still there.

I have no big understanding of technical things, but it must be something that happens when you export the game because it looks normal in the preview.

Any clues on how to fix this?

Would be very grateful for answer!

Best regards (and a happy new year!!!) from Eivind Lervik in Norway

(By the way, here is a link to the exported project in case you want to see for yourself)

• Hi!

I am quite new to exporting from construct 2 so I have a minor problem. When i try to export a game to .exe (Awesomium), all the tiles in the project are moved a little bit to the side and up. I dont know why it does that, and I can't figure ut how to fix it.

An example: If you make two "tiles" and want to set them together, you leave one pixel of space between them. Looks kind of silly...

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Best regards from Norway, Eivind Lervik

• Thanks a lot guys! Now we can continue with our project

Thanks again!

• Thanks a lot! Now that i got the canvas, how do I install it in Construct 2?

• Thanks for the reply! I tried to download the project, but I did not have the newest version (stupid me...). When i downloaded the newest version, i hitted a problem... I need to download somthing called "Canvas". Where can i find the newest version, and how do I install it?

And again, thanks for help

Best regards Eivind Lervik
