  • That is very helpful. I have always found Cocoon JS to be helpful. Do you know if the ads show up in AdHoc builds or in the simulator?

No prob, glad I could help. I don't know about the ads since I don't use them myself, but some here have successfully implemented them in their iOS games. Hope this post catches their eye.

  • Hello,

Yes, that is right. We are currently on it. It won't take too long.

Apart from that, recently we fixed an important issue in our end regarding the touch event when the game center was opened and the game is paused in the background.

If anyone found this issue, just recompile the project again.

    Regards.

Hey cool, that's nice to know! Thanks.

  • CocoonJS. It's deprecated by default, but you can right-click the exporter menu and make it available again.

  • I used CocoonJS (Canvas+) - got the latest plugin from GitHub and used the newest Cloud compiler. Game Center works, not a single complaint about performance. Then again, the game is a small high-score chaser.

  • Congrats on getting it published.

    Thank you!

We are also featured in 100+ countries including US and UK atm, exciting times!

  • Downloading as we speak. Good luck!

  • Aight, Wheel & Deal is out: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id953049488

We used CocoonJS (Canvas+) and managed to limit the memory use to 25 mb, no crash reports so far. Game center scores are working like a charm!

  • Try Construct 3

  • Ok, so I am buying this asap when the early access comes out. Simply incredible!

    WebView+ or Canvas+?

Actually, I'm taking about iOS8+ where WebView+ uses WKWebView and not APK for Android.

Webstorage works fine with Canvas+ - can confirm this also.

Let's hope Ludei fixes the Webview+ soon so you can update your game!

  • Well.. Maybe you're right. Unity can be better to me. It's a shame, I really like the C2 possibilities (how cool is it to say "I make the game by myself"?!. Not by hiring guy). But these little things..

Why don't you try to prototype your idea in C2 (free version) first? Then you'd have something to show to the Unity-guy you plan to hire in any case.

  • Wow, interesting news and some really good ideas in this thread already!

However, for me it's impossible to list any wanted features yet. I want to know what's the deal with C3 before saying anything.

  • > So I prefer CocoonJS at this moment in time, because it has better performance through all versions of iOS overall. However, as soon as iOS8 distribution reaches 75% I'll probably change preference to Cordova (which is the non-adobe branded PhoneGap) since it has better third party support.

Everytime I try CocoonJS, in xcode it says that the app is using the wrong architecture.

Did you update to the latest CocoonJS-plugin from Github and use the latest Cloud Compiler? That should do the trick.
