  • pinastro, the easiest solution that i can think of now, is to only move certain enemies in certain bridges, i mean, if you don't make all of them walk in all of the bridges is easy to simple put an invisible sprite in each path and everytime that an enemy touch one of them, you simple change it's direction. But if you wanna move all of them in all of the bridges it would be a little more complicated but can be done, if you are not good with the first solution, let me know and i can make you something that maybe you can use as an example, ok?

  • Hi everybody,

    My question is how can i do to implement wind-like-force? i'm making a tank game and in some level i want to implement a wind force so the player have to adjust is aiming taking into account the wind. The wind then will have to be a force that works both ways, accelerating or braking the bullet speed and, if it can be done, changing it's angle.

    For this i have though of an invisible horizontal force that is present troughout the visible area, but it seems that i'm failing in that, if anyone have made something similar and feel like helping, it will be good to have some ideas...

  • cornfedgamer, how are you? i played your game a little, i reach more than 5000 points and i can keep doing it for hours, i think mostly because there is not a notable incresing in the difficult, you may considerer adding spped to the monster everytime you destroy one. Also i fpund a little bug, in the upper left corner a few images are stuk with no movement.

  • Great work with the manual!, it is one of my favorites pages in chrome and i give it a really extensive use to learn more thing or refresh some others when i need it to!

    We know that is an extensive and exhausting work to do, but it is really useful for the new ones such as me!

  • You can always have a look at demos, in the Space Ship demo, he uses a good way of spawing enemies, may be this could help you

  • i think that grafics always have to support gameplay and not the inverse way. having a good gameplay is the base of a good game, for example Dwarf Fortress is and exelent game with almost no art, just some pixels for displaying waht is going on, but, it's always a good idea to put some dedication in the "look" part because the first impression always comes through the eyes.

  • Can't find a way of duplicating this effect for Construct 2, maybe one more experience fellow will give us a hand? Need this effect for a tank battle game, but it keeps running away from me...

  • I think that have multiples layouts would be the best solution when you don't have many levels, but, for you to keep in mind, i read somewhere in the forums that you can create autogeneretad level, i don't know how is this done, but maybe you can use ot, cause, for what i see and play, tower defense games have a lot of levels...
