  • Was going nuts trying to find out why Construct was crashing. Mine crashes by just pressing Alt to voice chat. Glad to see it's fixed in the next build, though! :)

  • Totally agree c:

  • Haven't received an email like that, but I hope others sure do not.

  • Might be problematic with level design depending on how it's all laid out, though.

  • Pretty sure it's via the Firebug add-on for Firefox.

    At least according to Kyatric:

"This appear to make my firebug respond.

Meaning that your plugin works for Chrome and FF"

I confirm it works on FF, but I keep getting a constant stream of "GET http://localhost:50000/_reloadpoll_?_=XXXXXXXXXXXXX" where the X's are random numbers. Works fine otherwise.

EDIT: NVM, just disable "Show XMLHtmlRequests".

Thanks a LOT! Can't express enough how useful this is. Might want to make this type of thing official IMHO.

  • Of course :) I'm asking all my friends to vote too!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Google Web Fonts - "you can use them in every way you want, privately or commercially ? in print, on your computer, or in your websites."

Also, they are opensource and can be easily used with CSS and C2.

  • WebStorage is deleted once cache is cleared, though, isn't it?

  • Simply put, I made a regular block that contained two variable comparison conditions into an "or" block.

    The block contained conditions comparing two variables of a Family named "ITEM". The variables were "VALUE" AND "TYPE". Worked fine, but, like I said, once I made it into an "or" block the game crashes and freezes with the below errors and their browsers;

    • Internet Explorer 9

    "Javascript error!

Unable to get value of property 'type': object is null or undefined

    http://localhost:500000/eveng.js, line 1258 (col undefined)

This is either a bug in Construct 2 or a problem in a third party plugin or behavior - please report it to the developer."

    • Google Chrome (Version 22.0.1229.94 m)

    "Javascript error!

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined.

    http://localhost:500000/eveng.js, line 1258 (col undefined)

This is either a bug in Construct 2 or a problem in a third party plugin or behavior - please report it to the developer."

    Specifications

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, SP1

GPU: MSI TwinFrozrII GTX 560 Ti (driver version, 306.23)

    Download

    CAPX

I think that covers everything, but let me know if you need anything else.

  • Ooo, thanks for sharing.

  • I agree :o I'm always so eager to see what the next updates are too.

  • Cut the global var, the events related disappear, yes, but once you paste it in an other event sheet, all events are back.

Where is the bug here ?

It does o.0 Did not know that. Thanks for that information.
