  • Great! And smooth!! But what if I want to restart the game? I only get a black screen ... Some variables or plugins that have to be reset?

    <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Er .. the name of my function is of course "CreateLevel". Sorry.

  • Thanks for all the great plugins, rexrainbow. I can see that you have made a great effort!

    I'm fiddling around with your "Bejeweled" and thought I might try to tweak it a little ... So I start out with showing five different pieces on the board and maybe when the user have reached , say 300 points I'll introduce one more piece. I got a global "NumberOfPieces" to set the number of animation frames for chess. That should make it a bit more interesting, even if it's not a brand new level. But I run into some problems. I can't get the game to continue after I have run the function I made ("NewLevel").

    I'm tracing and confirming that the System > Set group "Input" Activated action is called. But it doesn't seem active!

    I would be very grateful if you (or anyone!) have the time to take a look and point me in the right direction?

  • Ok. Thanks.

  • Sorry. I was adviced to enter a bug report when I first placed this thread on the "How do I .." forum. Where else can I go to solve my problem?

  • Hi. I'm working on a childrens game, a little like Angry Birds, but the goal in my game is to help the fish get to freedom (i.e. the sea).

    I've worked on some solutions for shoving the score. The usual textfield showing the score with a system font is a bit boring, so I tried web-fonts which are nice, but not consistent in all browsers. Chrome seem to have some issues with webfonts I think.

    Anyway, I thought that maybe a simple system with 10 different bitmaps showing the numbers from 0 to 9 would do. I made an array to keep the four digits I need in place and made a test project just to see if I was on the right track. And the test project seem to do the job: Numbers test As you can see the number I put into the global variable "Score" is recreated and printed on screen as a nice row of numbers the way I want it to.

    So far so good. But when I try to implement this into my real game it just won't work. Here's the game code: Save the fish r132

    The function "ScoreNumbers" is called in the "EndOfLevel"-function in the EventsCore-sheet. You'll find it at the bottom of the sheet. As far as I can see the tokenat-expression doesn't find anything in the NumbersArray. But why not? I really hope somebody in this good community can help me! <img src="smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Opened up my game in Construct 2 r132 on my Dell Laptop running Windows 7 64bit today. Noticed that Construct is not exporting all sounds, only 4 of 19 came through. I get both .m4a and .ogg copies. Noticed also that all icons for the sounds in the Projects bar in Construct had changed from the usual VLC-icons to general folder-icons. When I click on the folders they are showing seemingly random icons pulled from the Object types folder. Is this a bug in Construct or some crazy f#%k-up with my machine?

    Hope someone can help. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

  • I need my game to be notified when the user leaves the HTML-page or closes the browser. Then I can use the SaveGame function and the user can finish where he left if he wants to. I found the "on went offline" in the Browser object in C2, but so far thats all? How do I notify my game of browser behaviour?

  • I use the new save system. And I'm using the WebStorage object. And it works! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
