Tested a plug and play Gamer Gamepad, (ps2 style):

    Chrome 19 : Nothing

    Firefox 13 : Nothing :

Did you try firefox nightly .zip that was linked to in the OP? That is known to have gamepad support enabled.

GameStop branded (got it used ;), Model #BB-070, seems to replicate a 360 controller exactly. (As it was intended.

  • To quote an obviously handsome and intelligent man on another post:

"I just played it, and am posting this, on a (borrowed) iPad. The browser really is the OS now, most of us just havent quite caught up yet."

  • Okay, technically all canvas2d is now GPU accelerated. It would be interesting if someone did some before/after benchmarks?

  • Cross-posted in the HBGames thread, are multiple entries allowed?

(And my personal preference would be no plugins allowed, but since the free version can use them, it makes sense...)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Wow, that's basically garageband in your browser. (Well, an early version at least.) The browser really is the OS now. Thanks!

  • So, I'm using my online moniker that I've used since I was like 12 when it seemed "cool", (I'm 33 now, with a new baby!), I've dabbled in modding and playing with various game engines off and on for years, but never really finished anything. (My real-world career has been tech support, system administration and similar) Hopefully Construct2's more constrained scope will help keep me focused enough on what I can actually accomplish, not what is theoretically possible. :)
