    Oh and thanks Velojet, any chance you could test Chrome 18 too?

    I've just installed Chrome 18.0.1025.11 beta-m and ...

    Nothing. Not a peep from my Logtech Dual Action. <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    I popped back over to Firefox Nightly and it was still in perfect working order there.

    I disconnected and reconnected the gamepad. Still nothing from the Chrome beta.

    Oh well. No result is still an experimental result.

    Did you try firefox nightly .zip that was linked to in the OP? That is known to have gamepad support enabled.

    Bump on this thread.

    Ashley are there current beta versions of browsers we can use to test the gamepad object ?

    What's the methodology now in April ?

    I'd like to test a mayflash arcade stick.

    Didn't work in Chrome, although I may have gotten something wrong, I don't normally use it. I think I downloaded the latest Beta. The About says it's up to date at 19.0.1084.24.

    Mine was the same as Velojet:

    Windows 7 - Firefox Nightly

    Gamepad 0 ID: 46d-c216-Logitech Dual Action

    The Y axis of the right joystick is in Axis 5. I had to modify the following line in the Gamepad plugin's runtime file, to have the Y right axis work with my Logitech in Firefox Nightly:

         var win_ff_lda_axes    = [0, 1, 2, 3, [14, 15], 3, 3]; //the last element is now 3, which means the raw axis 5 should be translated to right axis Y
