Soo.. I'm Sevenstitch. I stumbled across Construct 2 a couple weeks ago,

and I've been fiddling with it ever since. I'm hoping to acctually MAKE

something with this thing, unlike all of the other game-making programs

I've played with in the past. I'll most likely be a lurker, but I hope to have something to share with everyone at some point. Thanks for reading this block of text.

Hello, I'm new here and new to Construct. For the last few days,

I've been fiddling with it, trying to make the basics for a

platformer, but I've ran into an unusual problem that I can't

seem to fix. I'm thinking that the answer is simple, but it

eludes me.

My little man can run and jump with proper animations, but if you

hold a run key while landing, he appears to "skate" across surfaces

until touching a barrier. Could someone please point out what I'm

missing so that I can continue? Thanks a ton!
