  • Player Hits solid Object and it acts like a wall, but the same obj can be destroyed by another obj.

    Been awhile since I messed with Construct 2 so pardon the silly question.

    I want to have it where player1 runs into obj1 it acts like a wall or barrier. But obj1 can be destroyed by laser1. Seems like it should be easy but I think the only way I worked with things like this is using it as a solid...which I think then it cannot be destroyed with another collision command.

  • I am interested in joining this team if there are any open spots.

    I am a intermediate Construct 2 user(Basically i can move around the program fine but when I get stuck I search out forums andyoutube for ideas) I have published two entry level games that I made to entertain my daughter and I am working on a 3rd - basic platformer(have not touched for a few months) and just need to get back into the swing of things.

    I really enjoy working in Construct 2 but just tired of being isolated if that makes sense.

  • I found that I needed to increase the size of the tile_layer if that makes any sense. I am good now. Thanks for the suggestion

    I have two tile maps I am using. One is 64 x 64 and works fine. But the next is 70 x 70 (Kenney Assets) and when I try and use the 70 x 70 ones I cannot place the tile half on the play area and half off.

    But the 64 x 64 I could.

    Any ideas?

  • Hello,

    Probably wording this all wrong but I have been using a tilemap to design the layout of my platformer levels. During this time I have created 18 or so levels with the same tilemap. But now I would like to use a different tilemap in the same project to do more levels.

    I was able to create tilemap_candy just fine but when I use it on the level it goes to the top layer and does not seem to connect to the tile_layer that I have been using up to this point.

    Any ideas?
